On Track Entertaining

At Veronica Ferro Interiors, we were thrilled to undertake a second design project at the exclusive Autobahn Country Club in 2018. This unique auto racing club in Joliet, Illinois, offers members the opportunity to build extraordinary garage and living spaces. Our goal was to create an out-of-the-ordinary space that feels like a natural extension of our client’s personality and style, fully focused on entertaining.

The kitchen, a centerpiece of the design, features a custom island that seats up to 12 people, raised to bar height for versatile use in cooking, party preparation, and social gatherings. A distinctive copper sink, inspired by our client’s vision and reminiscent of a race track, adds a unique flair to the space.

In the bathroom, we opted for a hand-painted concrete floor in a striking blue, designed to resemble a flowing river, making it truly one-of-a-kind. Completed over 18 months, this project reflects our commitment to creating bespoke experiences tailored to our client’s needs, evoking strong, positive emotions through beautiful and functional design. Every detail was carefully planned and coordinated, resulting in a space that balances functionality and warmth, seamlessly transitioning to reflect our client’s unique style and preferences.
